Nice towels not as large as expected (per measurements). Soft, nice pile, color. Unfortunately I DID NOT order the textured version! Smooth up textured was offered, not sent.

Softness

This towel set is the correct size, weight and the softest cotton towels I have ever bought. They wash up well and are even softer after drying. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a towel that dries them well and is heavenly to the touch

Limited materials inmanufacture.

This is just OK. Not as thick as past purchases. If you like plush towels expect to pay more. I am going to keep and regift to my grandsons.

Strings

I have washed three times, and each time a lot of strings had to be cut off with scissors. I have had Martha's towels before and they didn't do this

This Is A Good 400 GSM Towel Set

When this towel set arrived, I saw on the label that these were described as being 400 GSM (See Pictures). What is GSM? It stands for Gram Per Square Meter, and it’s a measure of a towel’s fabric weight. The number can range from 300-900, and is a measure of a towel’s heaviness, thickness, softness, absorbency and durability. Usually, the higher the number, the better the towel is in these areas. For example, a 600 GSM towel should be heavier, thicker, softer, more absorbent, and be more durable (last longer) than one that is 300 GSM. 400 GSM towels can either be good in these areas or be horrible. It could go either way. With that being said, I tried out the Martha Stewart 400 GSM 6-Piece Bath Towel Set and this is my assessment: This is a good quality bath towel set! The washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel that I used all performed well. I was really happy that the bath towel that I used to dry off post shower was really soft on my skin and very absorbent. I also like that I have a set of 3 towels, and my wife has her own set of 3. I will end by emphasizing that this is a really good 6-piece set of 400 GSM towels. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
